WOMADelaide

Checked options for travel to the festival and after checking the ease of travelling to the WOMADelaide with a wheelchair we decided to try to find the nearest Disabled Parking. As luck would have it we were able to park right outside the main gate.

    BONUS!!

WOMADelaide takes place on the grass of Adelaide’s Botanic Park, another of the green spaces that surround the city. The disadvantage of having a festival take place on grass is that grass is not the easiest surface to push a wheelchair on especially one containing the Beekeeper.

Oh well I always walk better when I’m pushing a shopping trolley……

The festival site is huge with 7 stages. The staging is excellent, the sound good stage announcers well versed in pronunciation of the artists.
